Imagine the Day You’re Body
Imagine...you wake up, walk over to your closet and you notice this feeling. Or maybe it’s an absence of a feeling? Dread...this all-to-familiar emotion that you experience, well used to experience, is no longer there.
You try on this really pretty dress that you know is made for your body. It flatters all the parts you love and the color looks amazing with your complexion. You feel beautiful.
Oh no, time for breakfast. But, wait, your first thought isn’t what can you eat so that you don’t bloat today. Your first thought is that you’re really in the mood for some pancakes. Pancakes seem to be just pancakes, no influence on how you feel on your body and no influence on the day ahead.
The sun is shining bright. You should definitely go for a run. But wait, maybe that “should” is actually more of a “want” now. You don’t feel obligated to go out and run to lose weight. You ENJOY going outside and moving your body because it makes your body feel good.
Your family is celebrating a birthday today. Avoiding parties is a thing of the past since now you honor that family is a value for you and you prioritize time with them.
You know that life is made to be lived and your body merely is a vessel to live this life. You know that your body does so much to protect this life of yours and you are grateful for it.
